Accreditation Statement

AOA Accreditation*

The American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists designates this program for a maximum of up to 30.5 hours of AOA Category 1-A credits. The AOCA will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity to the AOA.

Participants must complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion.  Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety.  Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. NOTE: If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

An application will be submitted for AANA credits.

**In order to ensure that the OCC required core competencies of Osteopathic Philosophy and Principles, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, and Professionalism under the OCC Component II are fulfilled, the AOCA is offering these lectures. The lectures will be offered on a rotating basis over a three-year period to ensure all OCC diplomates have an opportu­nity to complete these requirements over the OCC ten-year period. These OCC core com­petency lectures are specifically noted within the brochure and meeting attestation forms.
